We bring professionalism and partnership to our customers, providing jobs and second chances to people and apparel.
In 2022, Homeboy Threads began operations under the expertise and leadership of our sister company, Homeboy Electronics Recycling. HBR is a certified and award-winning social enterprise offering nationwide service for the proper disposal and management of IT assets. Both Homeboy Threads and HBR are part of the world’s preeminent gang rehabilitation and re-entry program, Homeboy Industries.
Homeboy Industries, is the largest gang rehabilitation program in the world. Its mission is to provide hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. Homeboy’s therapeutic community, re-entry services, and social enterprise model aim to reduce recidivism, facilitate family reunification, and remove barriers to employment.
Our Mission
Uplift the lives of highly marginalized individuals by providing them with the resources and support needed to get back on their feet and become responsible contributors to their communities.

I learned the forklift, I learned how to input weights and data entry into the computers…I learned how to sell things online, on e-com. I never, never in my life thought I would know how to do any of that stuff.
